Unfolding was a group show exploring themes of transformation, presence, time and the relationship between the outer world and our inner experience.
As part of the exhibition the community were invited to join the us to co-create a new artwork. Once completed the collaborative piece was displayed alongside the other works for the remainder of the show.
Rooted in a desire to bring about connection, sharing and conversation we want the act of creating this unfolding artwork together to be a joyous and meaningful investigation into the intersection of work and play, to prompt reflection on the transformation of ‘women’s work’ from communal to individual, and to cultivate a space for expression, appreciation and creation of beauty.”
